Operated by Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), Abu Dhabi International Airport serves the city of Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates. It is the second largest airport in the UAE. The airport boasts an award-winning passenger-centric facility that is getting more popular day by day. It offers its passengers quick service, maximum comfort and round-the-clock support to enhance their travel experience. Recently it has introduced a slew of initiatives to maintain the airport’s image as a passenger-centric facility.

Terminal Information: Abu Dhabi International Airport has three terminals and its new terminal three (T3) serves as base to Etihad Airways, the rapidly growing national flag carrier of the United Arab Emirates. T3 was opened to raise ADIA’s capacity to handle 12 million passengers per annum.
Airport Connectivity
Abu Dhabi has affordable bus and taxi services connecting it to and from the city centre. There are complimentary shuttle services connecting all terminals of the airport.
Bus Services: Municipal/Public Buses are available and Bus 901 arrives outside the arrival halls of Terminals 1 and 2 and shuttles between the airport and city at one-hour intervals.
Etihad Coach offers free services to Etihad Economy Class passengers and is located at Terminal 1 A (boarding card required for free access). The Etihad Coach Service is also available for passengers of other airlines but not free of cost.
Taxi Services: Limousine Taxi is available 24-hours daily, outside the arrival halls of Terminals 1 and 2. Fast and National Taxi Company are two taxi companies that currently operate in ADIA.
Free Etihad Chauffeur Service for Etihad passengers flying First or Business Class is available. The Etihad Chauffeur Desk and Lounge is conveniently located within the Arrivals ‘meet and greet’ area at the airport.
Car Hire: International car rental companies like Budget, Europcar, Hertz, and numerous other local car hire operators have their offices in the Terminal 1 car park area.
Car Parking: A full range of parking services and facilities to meet the needs of the visitors and passengers are available at the airport.
The award winning, state-of-the-art, multi-storied car park called Skypark is available to be conveniently used by both Terminals 1 and 3 users. The car park offers covered and temperature controlled parking. The air conditioned pedestrian access to both Terminals 1 and 3 – make it the car park of choice, especially during the summers.
For quick and convenient parking a paid valet parking service is available on the Departure curb side next to Terminals 1 and 3.
The airport has convenient short stay, mid stay car parking options conveniently located from the terminals. The long stay car parking is connected to all terminals with a complimentary shuttle service.
Lounges: Airport Hotel Lounge is located in T1 transit, on the right side just after the Departure Immigration Hall and operates 24 hours. Ghazal Lounge is located in T1 transit, on the left hand side just after the Departure Immigration Hall and operates 24 hours. These lounge facilities can be used by any passenger for an on the spot payment which is valid for few hours.
Al Dana Lounge (“by-invitation only”) is located in T1 transit satellite at the ground floor, while entering through Gates 14 and 15.
Etihad Premium Lounge is located in T1 transit, on the left side just after the Departure Immigration Hall and operates 24 hours. The lounge facility can be availed only by invitation for the guests travelling on Etihad airways’ Premium cabins or by Loyalty Program members of Gold or Silver tiers. Al Dar Lounge is a VIP Lounge which is located in T1 and operates 24 hours / 7 days a week. Passengers of any airline and/or class of travel may reserve this lounge.
Terminal 2 Premium Lounge is located near T2 transit / passenger waiting area.
Food and Beverage: In all terminals, a host of catering facilities are available to passengers. The passengers are spoilt with a wide choice of snacks, sandwiches, and hot and cold drinks.
Shopping: A 24 hours retail service is run by the ADDF in all terminals of the airport. The Duty Free shopping at Terminal 3 includes a wide range of luxury outlets with the most sought-after brands, newly created, exclusive and limited edition products, and first-class client-centred services.
DFS, the world's leading luxury travel retailer offers the utmost in luxury shopping with numerous international fashion brands such as Denfi, Dunhill, Prevage etc for the transient passengers.
Business facilities: The business centre located within the Airport Hotel in Terminal 1 provides various business services including telephone, fax and internet access which are free to all Airport Hotel Lounge guests. General public can use the services for a small fee.
Medical Care: Medical Services are located in T1 transit near the Immigration Arrival Hall. Passengers in T2 who require medical assistance can contact the T1 clinic, which operates 24 hours.
A pharmacy is conveniently located in the Terminal 1 on the ground floor of the satellite (transit) and Nursing Room and Diaper Changing Facilities are located inside the ladies washroom in the ground floor of the T1 Satellite.
Money and Banking: National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) operates in Terminals 1 and 2 where passengers with an account with the bank can avail simple banking facilities such as cash withdrawal / deposit, money exchanges etc. Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank is located near the car rentals at the Terminal 1 car parking area.
Automated Teller Machines: (ATM) - ATMs are available in T1, T1A and T2, in the landside and transit area. ATMs accept the major credit cards and U.A.E bank cards.
Money Exchanges accept all major currencies and operate 24-hours and are located in:
T1 Landside – At the arrival hall
T1 Departure check-in area near Gate 1
T1 Transit – 2 money exchange near Gate 5 & 6
T2 Landside – At the arrival hall area
T2 Landside – National Bank of Abu Dhabi counter provides money exchange services
Communication & Internet Services: Communication services such as internet access, telephone, facsimile are available for passengers at the various lounges and Airport Hotel Lounge. Telephone cards can be obtained from Duty Free outlets.
Postal Services: A post office is located at the T1 landside ground floor near staff tunnel and a post box is available at the T1 satellite (transit) ground floor near the escalators. The post office operates from 7:30 am to 9:30 pm.
Facilities for differently-abled passengers: The airport has facilities for differently-abled passengers and is wheelchair accessible.
Hotels: The airport hotel with 40 rooms, a business centre, a health club with gymnasium, jacuzzi and sauna and a children's play area is located in T1 transit, on the right side just after the Departure Immigration Hall. Shower facility can be availed by transiting passengers at the Airport Hotel for a fee.
Hotel Booking services are available at the Ticketing Counters of Terminal 1 at the check-in hall and also in Terminal 2. Payment can be made by cash or major credit cards.
Other Services: A fitness centre is located within the Airport Hotel; the facility is available for guests of the hotel and proper sports attire is required. Non-hotel guests can use the facility at an hourly charge.
Smoking Area: ADIA is a NO SMOKING AIRPORT. Designated smoking areas are located within the transit / satellite area.
