Terminal Information: Sydney Airport has three terminals. Terminal 1 is the International Terminal, while 2 and 3 are the domestic and Qantas terminals respectively. Terminal 1 has many information desks manned by volunteers called Gold Ambassadors.

Public Transport:

Cab Service: Every terminal has sheltered taxi stands. One may pre book cabs with companies like Silver Service Fleet, Legion Cabs, and Premiere Cabs among other taxi services. Check out the website for information on taxi charges and other associated information.

Bus Service: There is no dearth of buses plying to and from the airport. Most buses need to be pre-booked. Besides, there is an inter-terminal shuttle transfer between terminals 1 and 2 known as T-Bus.

Car Hire and Parking Facilities: The arrivals of both terminals 1 and 2 have car hire desks of companies like Avis, Hertz, Budget, Europcar, Thrify, and Red Spot. Parking facilities are available in three premiere public car parks besides express valet at T2 kerbside. The International terminal has a multi storied car park providing both self and valet service. There is also a frequent business traveller parking facility. Lounges and Business Facilities: There are numerous lounge facilities at the airport. The lounges in Terminal 1 are the Qantas Club and the First Class Lounge by Qantas Airways, Air New Zealand Lounge, the Silver Kris Lounge by Singapore Airlines, Lounge by Malaysia Airlines, and the Emirates Lounge by Emirates Airline.

Food: The airport is dotted with a galore of wining and dining places like restaurants, cafes, and bars.

Medical Care: Level 3 of Terminal 1 houses the Sydney Airport Medical Centre offering a plethora of services. It functions from Monday to Friday and its timings are 8 am to 5 pm. Furthermore, Terminal 1 also has two chemist shops.

Other Needs: The airport offers a host of facilities like baby change rooms, toilets and showers, children’s play areas including kid’s cinema, and media centre.

Shopping: Sydney Airport is like a shopping extravaganza with scores of tax duty free stores as well as numerous other options spanning items as varied as sports goods to perfumes and clothes.

Airport Hotels: There are many hotels in close proximity to the airport. Some of them are Airport Sydney International Inn, Holiday Inn Sydney Airport, Ibis Hotel Sydney Airport, and Stamford Sydney Airport Hotel.

Money, Banking, Postal and Telecommunications: Bureaux de change and ATM facilities are available throughout the airport. There is an ANZ bank as well. To meet your postal requirements, a Post Office is available too. As far as communication requirements are concerned, mobile phones can be hired from Vodafone Rental stores. Similarly, there is no dearth of Internet facilities.
