The Seychelles International Airport is situated in the main island of Mahé and has been serving as the direct link between ‘The Seychelles' island cluster and the rest of the world since 1972. The airport has undergone numerous expansions to handle the ever increasing number of Seychelles borne flights operated by different airlines. The Seychelles International Airport also serves as the base of Air Seychelles which is the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles besides serving a host of other flights to and from the destination.
Address: Seychelles International Airport, PO Box 18,1 Victoria, Mahe, Seychelles
Website: http://www.seychellesairports.travel/en/airports/seychelles_international_airport.php is a good information filled guide on flights and the different facilities at the airport. Valuable information on Seychelles tourism is available at the website as well.

Terminal Information: There are three terminals at the Seychelles airport for serving different Seychelles flights. The International Terminal is the largest and has been fully air conditioned. It can accommodate up to 800 passengers at any given time and the security is pretty tight.
Airport Connectivity: The airport is only 10 km from Victoria, the capital, and can be accessed conveniently.
Cab: A number of private taxi operators offer cab facility at the airport.
Bus: Buses are available from the two bus stops on the main road outside the airport. SCR7 is the standard bus fare and the frequency of Northbound and Southbound buses is pretty good. Travellers booking their holidays through travel agents can also avail of the transfer service offered by tour operators.
Car Hire: Numerous car rental agencies operate offices at the airport offering the convenience of booking a car for a Seychelles tour right after de-boarding from a flight.
Car Parking: Large spaces are available offering both short and long term parking facilities with convenient access to the terminal buildings.
Shopping: Shopping plays its own role in Seychelles tourism and the experience starts from the airport itself. The Departure Lounge has an STC Duty Free outlet, which offers a wide variety of goodies ranging from sun glasses to wines and cigarettes. The Arrival hall also has a small duty free outlet selling cheap items. In the Concourse area, passengers can shop at Aqua Studio and Antigone. Other famous shops at the airport are Diamond SA, Kreolor Boutique, Artisans Des Iles, Coco D’Amour, La Buse, Trezor.
Airport Hotels: There are certain hotels, which are in close proximity to the airport and prove convenient for a Seychelles tour. While the Wharf Hotel & Marina is a luxury property just about a five minute drive away from the airport, one can also consider the Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Beach Resort & Casino and Coral Strand Hotel, which are just a little further away. These hotels take out the hassle of traversing long distances to the airport for catching flights.
Money and Banking: Money changer facilities are available in the arrival lounge and the public concourse area. The money changer facility inside the arrival hall is available for every arrival. There are banking facilities outside the arrival hall. These are open 3 hours before all international flights. Barclays Bank (Seychelles) Ltd., MCB Seychelles, and Nouvobanq operate banking services. ATMs are available on the concourse area and are functional round the clock.
Baggage Allowance: Usually, the check in baggage weight limit is 20 kg for economy class passengers travelling to European destinations. The usual weight limit for Business class passengers is 30 kg for all destinations. Similarly, the normal weight limit for cabin baggage is 7 kg and a personal item such as a camera case, a briefcase, a small backpack, a purse, or a laptop.
