The Palace on Wheels takes you on a vibrating journey to the royal land of sand dunes and regal palaces. This is a 7-night journey through Rajasthan to explore this imperial land on the luxurious train. Discover the royal history of Taj Mahal, one of the modern wonders of the world. The Palace on Wheels is a fully air-conditioned train comprising of 14 deluxe saloons tastefully decorated. Each saloon has a personal attendant. The train has 2 multi cuisine dining cars, well appointed lounge, library and bar.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1 (Mon) London to Delhi
Evening direct flight with Jet Airways to Delhi.
Day 2 (Tue) Delhi
Arrive in Delhi and transfer to The Oberoi hotel for one night.
Day 3 (Wed) Delhi Today visit the sights of Old and New Delhi. Late afternoon join the train Palace on Wheels and your journey starts. Dinner on board.
Day 4 (Thu) Jaipur
Sightseeing of Jaipur, famous as "The Pink City". Also visit Amber Fort; ascend the Fort on an elephant. Evening depart for Sawai Madhopur.
Day 5 (Fri) Ranthambore & Chittorgarh
Arrive Sawai Madhopur in the morning and drive to Ranthambore for wildlife viewing. Continue on to Chittorgarh to see the hilltop fortress, lauded in legends of valor & chivalry. Day 6 (Sat) Udaipur
A day excursion by coach to Udaipur, the city of palaces, lakes & gardens. Sightseeing includes visit to the City Palace complex. Return to the train for an overnight journey to Jaisalmer.
Day 7 (Sun) Jaisalmer
Morning tour of the city includes impressive Fort. Afternoon visit the Sam sand dunes for a short camel ride and afternoon tea. Dinner in Jaisalmer before returning to the train.
Day 8 (Mon) Jodhpur
Morning sightseeing of Jodhpur, known for its rock solid Meharangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada and group of Royal Cenotaphs made of White marble.
Day 9 (Tue) Bharatpur & Agra
Early morning visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary; Continue on to Agra to see the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. En route visit Fatehpur Sikri. Evening depart for Delhi. Dinner on board.
Day 10 (Wed) Delhi
Breakfast on board. Arrive in Delhi and transfer to The Oberoi hotel for an overnight stay. Reminder of the day at leisure perhaps by the pool of your hotel. Day 11 (Thu) Delhi to London
Fly to London with Jet Airways direct flight.
