Day 1 (Sat) London to Bangalore
Day 2 (Sun) Bangalore
Fly with British Airways overnight flight to Bangalore.Arrive very early in the morning and transfer to the Taj West End or similar for a 2 night stay. Room booked from previous night (Room available for immediate check-in).
Day 3 (Mon) BangaloreMorning at leisure. Afternoon tour of Bangalore, the silicon capital of India, noted for its gardens, tree line avenues and Gothic Churches. Continue to the train station to board the luxury Golden Chariot train. In the evening depart for Mysore. Dinner on board.

Day 5 (Wed) Mysore
Morning drive to Nagarhole, an excellent wildlife sanctuary with Kabini River running through. Afternoon wildlife viewing. Stay overnight at Kabini River Lodge. Morning drive to Mysore. Afternoon visit to Srirangapatnam to see the site of Tipu Sultan’s summer palace and the Mysore Palace. In the evening visit the illuminated Brindavan Gardens. Return to the train.

Day 6 (Thu) Hassan
Day 7 (Fri) Hampi
Morning arrival in Hassan. After breakfast, visit the Jain pilgrim centre at Shravanabelagola, with a huge statue of Gomatheshwara (175 ft tall). In the afternoon visit intricately carved Hoysala Temples at Belur and Halebid. Full day sightseeing of Vijayanagar and Hempi ruins that date back to 14th century. Vijayanagar was one of the largest Hindu Empires in the Indian History spread from Arabian Sea to the Bay of Bengal. The greatness of the city is still evident from the Vitala & the Hazara temples, the stone chariot, Lotus Mahal & Queen’s bath etc.

Day 9 (Sun) Goa
Morning arrival in Badami and visit the rock-cut shrines. Visit the ancient temples at Pattadakal, a World Heritage Site located on the banks of the Malaprabha River . Return to the train for an early evening departure to Goa. Morning arrival at Karmali, Goa. Sightseeing of Goa.Visit the famous Portuguese churches of Old Goa. The day is spent in Goa. Return to the train for an overnight journey to Bangalore.

Arrive and transfer to the Taj West End or similar. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 11 (Tue) Bangalore to LondonEarly morning flight to London with British Airways.
