India is unique in it’s richness and variety of wildlife. This program has been designed for the wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers. The
finest wildlife parks in the north India have been chosen to maximize the chances to see elusive tiger, including Kanha National Park, the
Kipling country. Most of the parks are known for daylight tiger sightings and are home for a variety of mammal and bird species. A visit
to the immortal Taj Mahal, the pink city of Jaipur and the ancient temples of Khajuraho, adds to the richness of this program.

Day 1 Delhi
Arrive Delhi, and transfer to the Taj Palace Hotel.
Day 2 Delhi
Tour of Old and New Delhi visiting the Red fort,
Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat and busy market of Chandni
Chowk. Also visit Qutab Minar, Humayun’s tomb,
India Gate, Birla Temple and drive past President’s
Palace, Parliament House, Diplomatic enclave and
Connaught Place.
Day 3 Delhi to Jaipur
Morning train to Jaipur, the capital and the largest
city of Rajasthan. Afternoon tour of the city
visiting the City Palace, Swai Madho Sigh
Museum, Hawa Mahal (Palace of the winds) and
Jantar Mantar Observatory. Overnight at the
Trident Hilton.

Day 4 Jaipur to Ranthambore
Morning drive out to the hills that surround Jaipur
to visit Amber Fort and Palace, marvelous example
of ancient Rajput architecture. Ascend the Fort on
an elephant back. Afternoon drive to Ranthambore
National Park. Overnight at the Tiger Den.
Day 5 Ranthambore
Ranthambore National Park, a Project of Tiger
Reserve, spreads over slopes to sharp ridges, flat
valleys to narrow gorges, dotted with number of
water holes and lakes fed by several perennial
rivers. The reserve is dynamic in the diversity and
density of fauna it supports and is noted for
daylight Tiger sightings. The other fauna includes
panther, nilgai, hyena fox, sloth bear, wild boar,
marsh crocodile and variety of resident and
migratory birds. Morning and afternoon safari.
Day 6 Ranthambore to Bharatpur
Game viewing at dawn. Later drive to Bharatpur
bird sanctuary, one of the finest in Asia with over
300 species of birds and now a world heritage
site. Among the rich fauna are Siberian crane,
cormorant, painted stork, pelican, ibis and
snakebird. Exotic migratory birds flock here as far
as Central Asia, Siberia, the Arctic region and
China. Afternoon bird watching by rickshaw, boat
or foot. Overnight at the Laxmi Vilas Palace.

Day 7 Bharatpur to Agra
Morning bird watching by boat. A visit to nearby
Band Baratha bird sanctuary can be arranged
(optional). Later drive to Agra visiting enroute the
deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, a well preserved
Mughal city and a world heritage site. Optional
visit to the Taj Mahal at sunset. Overnight at the
Jaypee Palace.
Day 8 Agra to Kanha
Morning city tour of Agra includes visit to the Taj
Mahal, a poem in marble, built by Mughal
Emperor Shah Jahan, the elegant Fort and the
tomb of Itmad-uddaulah. Afternoon train to
Jabalpur. Overnight on board the train.
Day 9 Kanha
Arrive Jabalpur in the morning and drive to
Kanha National Park, the original Kipling country.
The setting of Rudyard Kipling's, “The Jungle
Book”. A project Tiger reserve, this is one of the
finest and most popular National Parks of India
known for Tiger sightings. The park is also noted
for hyena, wild dog, barking deer, langur, sambar,
black buck and gaur. Afternoon game viewing.
Overnight at the Krishna Jungle Resort.

Day 10 Kanha
Morning and evening game viewing by jeep and /
or on elephant back. Kanha is also rich in bird
life. It has about 260 species of birds including
storks, teals, pintails, partridge, falcon, golden
oriole and rock pigeons.
Day 11 Kanha

Day 12 Kanha to Bandavgarh
Early morning jungle safari. Later drive to
Bandavgarh National Park, also known as White
Tiger Country. Bandavgarh was originally a game
reserve of the Maharaja of Rewa. In the moist and
mixed deciduous forest, the park is dominated by
a 14th Century hilltop fort and supports numerous
species of mammals including tigers, leopards and
variety of bird life. The other wildlife includes
sloth bear, chausingha, Asiatic jackal and Bengal
fox. Among reptiles it has cobra, python, viper etc.
Overnight at the Royal Tiger Resort.

Day 13 Bandavgarh
Early morning and evening game viewing.
Day 14 Bandavgarh to Khajuraho
Early morning game viewing. After breakfast drive
to Khajuraho. Afternoon visit the famous rock cut
temples built by Chandela rulers between 950 to
1050 AD, depicting erotic themes. Overnight at
the Taj Chandela Hotel.
Day 15 Khajuraho to Delhi
Afternoon flight to Delhi, transfer to the Radisson
Hotel.
Day 16 Depart Delhi
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
