Increasing numbers of people are choosing to combine their holiday in Australia and other destinations with their wedding, according to one company.

People are choosing to combine their weddings and honeymoons                       Increasing numbers of people are choosing to combine their holiday in Australia and other destinations with their wedding, according to one company.

Ron Cropper, marketing director at Weddings & Honeymoons Abroad, explained: "If they have a wedding overseas, they usually tie up the wedding and the honeymoon together."
According to Mr Cropper, the low cost of overseas weddings is driving their popularity as the average cost of the event in the UK is reported to be around £18,000.

Marry Abroad explained the simplicity of combining a holiday in Australia with a wedding ceremony.

It said that Australia was one of the most organised countries in the world when it comes to the wedding industry and the process is "relatively straightforward".

There are many different locations with a range of landscapes to choose from to suit all kinds of tastes.
