Lovers of wine may wish to get their holiday to Australia booked quickly as a new premier wine experience has been launched in Barossa.

Situated in the south of Australia, Barossa's premier vineyard retreat, The Louise, is now offering a range of different private wine tasting experiences to its guests.

"Each tasting provides a different insight - organic and biodynamic wines, alternate varietals, barrel tasting, specific and inspired food pairing, rustic heritage and old vine," explained Australia.com.

The Signature Barossa Experiences will also be attended by the boutique winemakers themselves, who will be on hand during the tasting to make the experience on holiday in Australia truly special.

Also available to accompany the sessions is the option of a light or long lunch or a selection of tapas.

Cycling, bushwalking, shopping, golf and the arts are also popular pastimes for visitors to the Barossa region.
