New adventures await on holidays to AustraliaAnyone who is hopping on flights to Australia over the next few months could be in need of some ideas for exciting activities to try once they reach the country.

Two travel operators in South Australia have revealed some new tour options to offer adventurous travellers a chance to experience something out of the ordinary.

The Tuna Swim and Dune Combo run by Wilderness Wanders will see tourists go from one extreme to another.

Visitors will be taken out into the ocean where they can swim with giant tuna before being whisked back to dry land where they will have the opportunity to try sandboarding at Wreck Beach and then take a drive through Lincoln National Park's impressive dunes.

Anyone who would prefer to spend some more time on the sea may be interested in the Spectator Price tour with Calypso Star Charter.

Holidaymakers will explore the waters off the South Australian coast in search of one of the ocean's greatest predators - the great white shark - from the comfort of the boat.

People can marvel at the sharks' gaping mouths and 3,000 teeth before heading off to find some of the country's more friendly aquatic wildlife such as dolphins.

Fishing equipment is also provided to those who want to occupy their time in between sightings.
