Check out the International Arts Festival on holidays to PerthPeople who have booked flights to Perth in February will be touching down in the midst of the city's International Arts Festival.

Described as Australia's "oldest and largest multi-arts festival" by What's On When, there is sure to be something to suit all tastes during the month-long event.

It was set up in 1953 by the University of West Australia and has been running annually ever since.

Opening on February 12th with events taking place until March 6th, it will probably entertain many of the holidaymakers who take flights to Perth during the next four weeks.

Travellers can find everything from theatrical or operatic performances to sculpture exhibitions and even film screenings.

There are also a number of free events on offer to anyone in the city, such as discussions with leading writers from the region and free movies at Hillarys Boat Harbour in South Perth and Bayswater.
