Australias east coast packed with must-seesThe east coast of Australia has plenty of attractions that people on holidays to Australia should not miss out on, according to one travel expert.

Natural sights such as beaches and islands are one reason to visit this part of the country, Kate Mison, branch manager at STA Travel London Victoria noted.

The region also boasts the underwater wonder of the Great Barrier Reef, as well as lush rainforests around Cape Tribulation, she added.

Ms Mison suggested taking a snorkelling trip on the reef before heading back to dry land to enjoy a typical Australian barbeque.

"The east coast stretch of Australia is packed with activities and must-sees," she enthused.

Cities in this area also have plenty to offer those staying in Australia. For example, Melbourne's International Comedy Festival, which has been running since March, is drawing to a close this weekend.
