BridgeClimb Sydney website reaches visitor milestone

Anyone booking flights to Sydney may be considering taking on the Harbour Bridge climb while visiting the city.

With thousands of holidaymakers taking on the activity each year, it has become one of the must-do experiences in Sydney.

BridgeClimb Sydney is celebrating its own milestone this week, having received its 10 millionth unique visitor to the website.

The organisation also revealed that more than 50 per cent of those who scramble to the top of the iconic landmark book their experience through the site.

More than 2.5 million people have climbed Sydney Harbour Bridge, which opened in 1932.

People who want to experience it for themselves can choose from several different options when it comes to scaling the bridge.

These include the Express Climb, which is the fastest route to the top and the Discovery Climb - which takes people into the centre of the bridge to see the structure up close.
