Sydney eateries in list of top 100 city restaurantsAnyone who is jetting off on flights to Sydney need not worry about being able to find a good place to go for a meal at any time of day.

This is according to Travel+Leisure magazine, which picked out some of the city's eateries in a list of the 100 Best City Restaurants.

Among the establishments recommended by the publication were Sepia - which offers seafood dishes - and Bodega, where diners can enjoy "Spanish tapas with a South American twist and an Australian accent".

When it comes to lunches and snacks, there are several places to head.

Adriano Zumbo's patisserie in Balmain is one suggestion for "deliciously outre confections", while the Spice Temple is a good spot for a midday meal.

Last month, journalist Mark Chipperfield commented that Sydney is the "perfect all-rounder" because it offers attractions ranging from "great surf beaches" to a "flamboyant nightlife" and also has "cutting-edge cuisine".
