Active holidaymakers spoiled for choiceThere are not many holiday destinations which will not give tourists the chance to take part in some kind of activity, it has been said.

Spokesman from the Association of Independent Tour Operators Ian Bradley noted that over the past few years, the popularity of active holidays has been rising. He said that people are now keen to do more on a break than they were before "rather than fly and flop on a beach".

Even tourists jetting off to luxury destinations, which could include those taking cheap flights to Australia, could be enjoying an active time in their high-end resort, he said.

Australia is a great destination for those keen to remain active even while on their summer holidays and boasts many places ideal for all sorts of fun, from diving on the Great Barrier Reef to sailing and swimming.

Brave Brits taking cheap flights to Australia may even want to bungee jump off the world-famous Sydney Harbour Bridge.
