Those heading off on cheap flights to Western Australia could find a break there is one of the most luxurious they have ever enjoyed.

Speaking about Australian getaways, Austravel noted that the nation is "not necessarily" linked to being luxurious but that it actually is home to "a huge array" of high-end places to stay and also offers glamorous tours.

Ben Briggs, brand manager at the firm, said that the luxury travellers will experience in Western Australia is to do with the natural world around them.

"Western Australia is an experiential destination so its luxury is all about stunning locations, silence and space, rather than gold taps and valet parking," he praised.

Those jetting off on cheap flights to Western Australia should make sure they visit the Ningaloo Reef, he advised, which is the biggest fringing coral in the country.

Kimberley is also well worth a visit as it is "one of the country's last great wilderness areas", the tourism expert commented.

Figures from the firm show that in north-western Australia, the number of top-class hotels is on the rise.
