Valentino exhibition could draw fashionistas on cheap flights to AustraliaAn exhibition showcasing the work of legendary fashion designer Valentino could be of interest to those jetting off on cheap flights to Australia.

Set to be held in Brisbane, at the Gallery of Modern Art, the Valentino, Retrospective: Past, Present and Future exhibition will run from August 7th until mid-November this year. It will feature items spanning Valentino's five decade career including pieces from his very first collection, made in 1959.

The designer is famous for creating his very own shade of colour - Valentino Red.

In celebration of the exhibition, a number of local hotels are offering package deals which could help those taking cheap flights to Australia to cut back even further on the price of a trip.

At the five-star Brisbane Hilton, guests can enjoy the Valentino Package, which offers one night's accommodation plus a buffet-style breakfast and two tickets to the exhibition. For those taking cheap flights to Sydney or Melbourne, the package can also be tailored to include return flights to and from Brisbane.
