Great Australian Outback Cattle Drive offers a glimpse into Aussie culture
Those who like to get a taste of the culture of a country when they head their on holiday may want to visit the Great Australian Outback Cattle Drive after taking a cheap flight to Australia.

Due to run until August 29th, the event has been described as "an enjoyable and uniquely South Australian experience" and could give visitors a glimpse of life in "the gateway to the outback".

South Australian tourism minister John Rau said: "The Great Australian Outback Cattle Drive brings together the very best of South Australia - amazing landscapes, wildlife, great food and wine and friendly hospitality."

Describing the adventure, he said that holidaymakers at the cattle drive will be experiencing the life of a drover and herding cattle through the day, before enjoying luxury tents and hot showers in a high-end camp site in the evening.

The outback is notoriously difficult for those not from the area to navigate and so going with a guide or a proper package tour is the best way for those taking cheap flights to Australia to explore it.
