A gourmet weekend due to be held at a luxurious hotel in Australia could be the ultimate relaxing break for those taking cheap flights to Australia.

The Bedarra Island Resort is hosting its Henschke's Bedarra Gourmet Weekend Indulgence package and for those with a passion for great food and wine, it is perfect. Henschke Wines of Eden Valley will be in attendance at the event and husband and wife pair Stephen and Prue Henschke will host two special dinners.

All diners will be able to enjoy some of the firm's best tipples while sampling food which hails from the region and is top quality. The culinary team at the resort have created seven-course menus especially for the weekend - and with chefs at Bedarra Island coming from restaurants owned by Rick Stein and Raymond Blanc, it is sure to be some of the best food in the world.

Bedarra Island is a tropical isle off the coast of Queensland and could be an ideal base from which to explore the Great Barrier Reef.
