Airline plans new Brisbane-Bali serviceA new non-stop service from Brisbane to Bali will be launched next year by Strategic Airlines.

The company plans to offer flights to Brisbane from Bali twice weekly using Airbus A330 services starting on March 19th.

Passengers will be able to choose from two class of tickets - 30 business seats and a further 243 economy fares.

Strategic's head of commercial, Damien Vasta, said: "We believe our passengers will really enjoy flying on a wide-bodied Airbus A330 with the comfort and customer service of a full service carrier, at very affordable fares."

The new flight will depart Brisbane Airport each Saturday and Wednesday morning at 8.30 and arrive in Bali at the local time of 13.00.

Strategic Airlines already operates a one-stop flight to Brisbane from Bali, which stops at Port Hedland and Townville.

The airline is also planning to commence twice weekly flights to Melbourne from Phuket and flights to Brisbane from Phuket at some point in 2011.
