Golfing icon offers Australian course picks

Veteran pro-golfer Greg Norman has offered his top picks for fine fairways and pristine greens in his homeland of Australia.

Norman gave a personal insight into his selected courses in an interview with Golf Vacations magazine, in which he picked out Ellerston in New South Wales for particular praise.

He said that he would happily play that course "every day for the rest of my life".

Courses in the Victoria and Queensland regions are also discussed by the pro golfer, who is often known as the Great White Shark, with international picks in China, the USA and Mexico making his top-ten list as well.

Furthermore, the latest edition of the magazine includes an interview with colourful Australian golfing identity Jack Newton, who has recently set up and run a special charity event.

If you're looking to explore new destinations to tee off in, then Golf Vacations suggests booking flights to Dubai, the Dominican Republic, Borneo, Bali and South Africa.
