Good Food & Wine Show begins in Perth next week

Foodies who have taken advantage of cheap flights to Perth will be interested to hear that the Good Food & Wine Show starts in the city on Friday July 15th.

The exhibition runs until Sunday July 17th at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre and will see hundreds of companies sharing their tastiest delicacies and cooking innovations.

People may be able to learn a thing or two about cooking, as there will be a host of experts delivering workshops on everything from butchery to wine-tasting.

Tickets for the event cost AU$31.50 (£21.20), but there are concessions available.

"Succumb to your senses as you savour and sample good food, acclaimed local produce, enticing chocolates, luscious cheeses and of course, award-winning Western Australian wines," remarked the organisers.

Opening hours are from 10:00 to 17:00 local time on Friday and Sunday, while the venue will be open until 18:00 on Saturday.

Separate passes for the Friday After Dark sessions - from 18:00 to 21:30 - are also available.
