The queen has seen some Aboriginal practices first hand during her visit to Australia.

Queen experiences Aboriginal traditions in Perth

People on flights to Perth could decide to following the footsteps of the queen and use their trip to find out more about the Aborigines who live in the country.

As part of her on-going tour across Australia, Her Royal Highness paid a visit to Clontarf Aboriginal College, a Catholic school for Aboriginal children, to learn more about their way of life.

She was given a demonstration of Australian rules football by some of the pupils, before being taken to a cookery lesson where the students were cooking Kangaroo stew.

Although the monarch did not sample any of the dish, she commented that it "smells good".

The queen was also presented with an Aussie rules football and a bunch of flowers by the children at the school.

Travellers on flights to Perth may be able to see the queen before she departs with Prince Philip for the UK again, as the city is to be the last stop on her trip.
