Virgin Atlantic offers present wrapping serviceTravellers taking flights to South Africa and other locations with Virgin Atlantic have been offered the chance to wrap their presents after passing through airport security.

People catching flights from London Heathrow will be offered the chance to wrap their presents before boarding their planes, as security measures state parcels must be unwrapped when going through security.

The parcels will be wrapped by members of staff in bright paper and ribbons, with a donation of £1 for each present will be given to the charity Free the Children.

Joe Thompson, general manager for airports with the carrier, said: "Being able to offer this present wrapping service is the perfect finishing touch for those who have gifts to take to loved ones in far-away places."

Those planning to take flights to South Africa to spend time in Cape Town could be pleased to hear the city is planning to have its best summer ever, as several events are being planned.
