Celebs flock to Dubai sunshineCelebrities are making sure they get spotted in the world's hottest holiday destination by heading off on breaks to Dubai.

Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding recently jetted off to the city for a girl's sunshine break after splitting with her DJ fiance.

Meanwhile, soap stars Verity Rushworth and Adele Silver have both swapped the hills of Yorkshire for the golden beaches of Dubai as they take a break from their respective acting schedules.

People hoping to emulate the celebrities by booking their own flights to Dubai may be interested to hear of a new development planned for the area.

A new resort, Atlantis The Palm, will open in September 2008 and will be the largest water-themed attraction in the Middle East.

The 1,539-room resort will feature 17 restaurants, bistros, cafes, bars, the Sanctuary nightclub, a spa, tennis courts, running track and a gym, as well as Dolphin Bay, which will be home to 27 of the marine mammals.

Travellers are advised to book early if they wish to beat the celebrities there.Meet the editors...
