Dubais beaches to get even betterThe beaches in Dubai are to get even more golden amid plans to counter seasonal winds, people going on holidays to Dubai might be interested to know.

Some 600,000 cubic metres of sand has been delivered to rejuvenate areas that have been washed away by waves and shamal winds in a project by the coastal management section of Dubai Municipality.

The most popular beaches have been given special priority thanks to their importance as a tourist haven.

Hamdan Al Shair, director of the environment department, said: "Nourishing the beaches in a scientific and well-planned manner will provide stability and continuity."

Certain celebrities may also be interested to hear of the beach improvements - Orlando Bloom, Hilary Swank and Arnold Schwarzenegger are all set to visit Dubai soon for an exclusive party to launch the Trump International Hotel & Tower Dubai thrown by Donald Trump, according to the Los Angeles Times.
