City's highest lounge opens in Dubai

Dubai hotel the Address Downtown Burj Dubai has announced the opening of a new sky lounge, which may be of interest to visitors to the emirate city.

Dubai hotel the Address Downtown Burj Dubai has announced the opening of a new sky lounge, which may be of interest to visitors to the emirate city.

Neos is situated on the hotel's 63rd floor and offers spectacular 360 degree views across Dubai to the Burj Dubai Lake through floor to ceiling windows.

Indeed, it is the highest lounge in the entire city and hotel manager Cora De Conceicao-Stuart said it will attract people from all over the world.

"It is definitely a destination venue and a must see place for residents and visitors to Dubai who are looking for an upscale yet retro experience," she commented.

Neos also incorporates a gourmet restaurant which serves luxury food such as French oysters, Boston lobster and caviar.

Two other Address properties, the Address Dubai Mall and the Address Dubai Marina, will also open in 2009.

In a list recently compiled by the Telegraph, the opening of the Atlantis resort in Dubai was named as one of the world's most significant tourist events for 2008.
