Travellers heading on a holiday to Dubai can experience an adrenaline-filled experience of a lifetime on an outing to a shopping mall.

A new attraction at the Dubai Mall will allow visitors to slip into something a little less suited to the streets to dive with sharks in an underwater zoo.

Housed within the shopping complex, the Dubai Aquarium will offer shoppers the chance to swim in the ten million-litre tank - one of the largest in the world - among reef sharks, leopard sharks, tiger sharks, stingrays and giant groupers.

"Now, with the launch of shark dives, we are offering the opportunity for all to have an incredible diving experience in an aquarium environment," said mall spokesman Arif Amiri.

Each dive will last between 20 and 30 minutes and will take place three times a day.

The dives are open to everyone, with introductory courses provided for non-certified divers. Meet the editors...
