Top reads for a Dubai beach holiday	Once the flight to Dubai has been booked for a relaxing holiday on the beach, travellers must then decide what book they will get stuck in to while sunbathing in their blissful surroundings.

According to a survey by Penguin, Britons voted Jeremy Clarkson's book, For Crying Out Loud, as the top beach read of all time.

"Books and the beach go hand in hand so we wanted to find out what makes the perfect page turner for the sun-lounger," explained managing director of Teletext holidays Victoria Sanders.

She added that almost everyone who voted for the Top Gear presenter's book had been male.

Women taking a holiday in Dubai may be more likely to read The Charming Man, by Marian Keyes, which came second in the poll.

Travellers looking to keep themselves busy on their holiday in Dubai may wish to head to the city's Festival Arena during October, for the Dubai Boating Festival.

Activities to keep all-ages entertained will be on offer at the event, according to event's guide WhatsOnWhen. Meet the editors...
