Dubai's tallest hotel 'a dramatic addition to the skyline'

One of the tallest single-use hotel and residential buildings in the world is nearing completion in Dubai.

The emirate is already home to the highest building in the world and now one hotel aims to have one of the tallest single-use hotel and residential building as part of its complex.

Ali Mubarak Al Soori, executive vice-president of facilities and project management and P&L at Emirates, commented that the finished hotel will be "an iconic and dramatic addition to the ever-changing skyline of this exciting city".

The Emirates Park Towers hotel will feature two towers each standing at 365 metres in height.

Shops, a gym, a swimming pool and up to 18 food and drink outlets will all be part of the complex, which will also feature a 3,700 square metre spa and health club.

The impressive construction is located on Sheikh Zayed Road, near the Burj Khalifa, which stands at more than 800 metres tall.
