Atlantis resort in Dubai launches dive centreAnyone who is taking cheap flights to Dubai may want to spend at least a few nights of their break staying at the Atlantis resort.

With its boutique shopping, numerous bars and restaurants and the largest waterpark in the Middle East, it already has plenty of attractions.

However, the Atlantis resort has added to this list with the opening of its own in-house dive centre.

The PADI Atlantis Dive Centre is National Geographic accredited and offers a range of internationally recognised scuba diving courses and qualifications.

Guests will be able to get to grips with the underwater world in one of the resort's private saltwater pools before heading out to test their skills in open water.

Meanwhile, certified divers can book onto daytrips to some of the man-made reefs and wrecks that can be found off Dubai's coast, as well as heading out to some of the dive sites in the Musandam.
