A leading car and van rental company is expanding into Dubai with the opening of three new offices.

A leading car and van rental company is expanding into Dubai with the opening of three new offices.

Budget Rent A Car will open the new branches before the end of the year and could provide hire services to people taking flights to Dubai from the UK.

The company believes the state is continuing to develop as a major destination for tourists and is also a strong commercial location.

Salim Damji, senior general manager, UAE, Budget Rent A Car, said: "We are delighted to open our newest branch in the heart of an area that represents Dubai's rising ambitions as a global tourism, financial and trading centre."

He added that the company believes it will see 25 per cent growth in its UAE operations over the next two years as a result of the expansion plans.

The three branches will be located in the Burj Downtown area, Dubai Marina and Dual Investments Park.

Budget Rent A Car was founded in 1958 and now operates from almost 1,800 locations worldwide.
