Dubai's International airport has been named as one of the world's favourite airports.

A poll of 9,000 Priority Pass members who take regular flights to around 150 different countries was conducted.

Dubai's main airport was ranked third in the survey, behind Singapore Changi and Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok.

Jonathan French, head of brand at Priority Pass, said: "It's clear that airports in the Middle East are gaining greater prestige among travellers throughout the world due to the excellent facilities and management."

The airport was ranked number one by 300 respondents from the Middle East, who take frequent flights to Dubai.

Launched in 1992, Priority Pass is a service that allows frequent flyers to access airport lounges even if they are not a member of the airline's loyalty programme or travelling first class.
