Dubai hotel wins top award

The Dubai Armani hotel in the Burj Khalifa building has been named as the Best Business Hotel in the latest Gulf Connoisseur Awards.

The Dubai Armani hotel in the Burj Khalifa building has been named as the Best Business Hotel in the latest Gulf Connoisseur Awards.

Designed by Giorgio Armani and opened in April, the hotel's Indian restaurant, Armani/Amal, also won the Best Fine Dining Restaurant category.

Marc Dardenne, chief executive officer, Emaar Hospitality Group and Emaar Hotels & Resorts said: "The Gulf Connoisseur awards are a testament to significant imprint that Armani Hotel Dubai has made since its opening."

He added: "A true global trend-setter in the hospitality industry, Armani Hotel Dubai appeals not only to leisure guests but also to business travellers, as highlighted by the award."

The Dubai Armani offers guests a range of accommodation including 70 classic bedrooms located in the centre of Burj Khalifa and a number of executive suites located on levels five and six of the tower.
