The annual Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS) is set to attract thousands of visitors to the emirate state.

Sailors head to Dubai International Boat Show  The annual Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS) is set to attract thousands of visitors to the emirate state.

Running from March 1st to March 5th at the Dubai International Marine Club, the event has become a major attraction for those taking flights to Dubai because of its wide-range of boats and entertainment.

Visitors are given the chance to look around a number of luxury boats and learn more about the latest products and services within the sailing industry.

This year's DIBS, organised by the Dubai World Trade Centre, will also so the launch of a new Supercar Promenade - featuring a number of high-performance custom and modified road vehicles.

Last year's event attracted over 23,000 people visiting from a total of 76 countries. Overall, 89 per cent of the visitors in 2010 rated the event as a good or excellent.
