Indian movie star to treat Dubai fansBrits booking flights to Dubai to get away from the Royal Wedding may be glad to learn that Kannada movie star Tejaswini Prakash is due to appear in the Emirati city for a free show.

The Indian actress is expected to treat fans to songs from her most popular films, including Maathaad Maathaadu Mallige, Masanada Makkalu, Savi Savi Nenapu, and Aramane.

Currently, the 23-year-old is shooting her latest film E-Preeti, in which she plays a small-town girl who transforms herself into an American career woman.

Having broken onto the scene four years ago, Prakash hasn't always got on with her co-stars and directors, but she has won several Indian fans for her on-screen performances.

She will be appearing in honour of the first ever Kannada Chutuku Sammelana and Dhvani Awards presentation ceremony.

Her show at Dubai's Philadelphia Private School, Al Ghusais is scheduled for 3pm local time on April 29th and tickets for the event are free.
