Thriller Live will be arriving in Abu Dhabi this summer, it has been confirmed.

Michael Jackson stage show to thrill Abu Dhabi

Music lovers visiting the UAE this summer are in for a treat, as Thriller Live is due to arrive in Abu Dhabi next month, it has been announced.

The stage show, which opened in London's West End five years ago, is being brought to the 5,000-capacity Flash Forum on Yas Island.

Shatha al Romaithi, a spokeswoman for the venue, said that local fans and visitors arriving on flights to Abu Dhabi will be delighted to see the show.

"This show has captured audiences around the world with its talented, energetic cast, and we are delighted to bring this incredible musical experience to Abu Dhabi to pay tribute to Michael Jackson," she said.

The two-hour show includes a medley of hits from Jackson's 40-year career, including songs recorded by the Jackson 5.

Michael Jackson's records have sold millions worldwide and Thriller is estimated to be the best-selling album of all time, with 100 million units sold.
