Sampling of India: Of Blind Men & ElephantsBrits travelling on flights to Dubai should check out a scintillating exhibition showcasing the very best of today's young and emerging Indian photography.

The exhibition in Dubai, called Sampling of India: Of Blind Men & Elephants, uses the Indian fable of six wise blind men who discover an elephant for the first time as the main theme of the show.

The story goes that each man felt different part of the animal, from the tusk to its belly to its tail.

As such, when they came to describe it, they all argued that their description was correct.

In short, even the wisest of people can be both right and wrong.

The same could be said of the rich diversity unique to India. It is a huge subcontinent of disparate people who all offer their own distinct cultures and it is this which is captured by the artists.

Showcasing the work of Michael Bühler-Rose, Priya Kambli, Neil Chowdhury Mahesh Shantaram, Vidisha Saini and Zubin Pastakia, Sampling India is a lavish, colourful and insightful show.
