Visit Dubai Museum for a taste of its ancient historyHistory buffs on cheap flights to Dubai will fall in love with Dubai Museum, which is an absolute essential experience.

Housed in the Al-Fahidi Fort, which was built in 1800, the museum is an interactive hub of cultural and historic activity.

The museum includes exquisite archaeological objects, some of which are 4,000 years old. This includes pottery and metallic items.

A large selection of the museum is dedicated to fantastic museum instruments, including drums, bagpipes made of goatskin, flutes and lyres.

One of the highlights of the museum is its pearl-diving collection, which includes pearl merchants' weights, scales and sieves.

It is thought to be Dubai's oldest building and was once guarded the landward approaches to the town.

Not only was it the original residence of Dubai's rulers, it was also the seat of the government until it was retired and converted into a museum.

In its time it was also used as a jail and a place to store ammunition.
