Galleries announced for Dubai Art Fair 2012

The galleries which people taking flights to Dubai for next year's Art Fair can expect to see have been announced.

The sixth edition of the Dubai Art Fair will be held between March 21st and 24th 2012 and will see both small and larger galleries visiting from across the world.

Director of the fair Antonia Carver stated that the selection for the event will be around 75 per cent galleries and explained that the intention is to "organise a unique event, with a different angle".

Some of the galleries which are set to take part include the Arndt from Berlin, the Lomard Freid Projects of New York and Chantal Crousel's Gallery in Paris.

The fair is also hoping to build on the success of last year, which saw 20,000 people visit the exhibitions.

Travellers taking flights to Dubai could soon see a range of new marine life in its waters, as artificial reefs are set to be built off its coastline.
