Emirates launches baggage service Travellers taking flights to Dubai with Emirates could find their journey is made less stressful by taking advantage of a new baggage delivery service.

The airlines has announced it will be offering the service to those who fly into Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport, with passengers able to head on to their destination while the rest of their luggage is directed to anywhere in the United Arab Emirates.

"The launch of the new baggage delivery service is just another initiative towards ensuring the comfort and convenience of our customers when they travel through Terminal 3," said Mohammed H Mattar, divisional senior vice-president for airport services with Emirates.

All bags transported by the service need to conform to standard baggage weight and dimension regulations and a small change is in place for each item.

There could be a lot of people planning to use the service after taking flights to Dubai, as the airport recently stated it was on course to become the second busiest in the world by the end of the year.
