Egyptian hospitality is 'a key feature'

The Egyptian State Tourist Office believes that the ongoing developments within Egypt will not impact on the country's hospitality.

The Egyptian State Tourist Office believes that the ongoing developments within Egypt will not impact on the country's hospitality.

Khaled Ramy, director of the Egyptian State Tourist Office in London, explained that the country is seeing real growth in popularity and this has led to greater investment in Egypt's infrastructure.

He added: "We are strictly implementing the rules of sustainable developments; taking care of the local communities and the environment. It goes without saying that Egyptians are friendly, welcoming people."

In particular, Mr Ramy said many of the developments have traditionally been close to the Red Sea but new resorts are being created on Egypt's Mediterranean coast, the so-called White Med, as demand increases.

A recent report from IQPC Middle East showed that the country is enjoying an 'unparalleled' boom in tourism as more people take flights to Egypt and discover the region's attractions.
