Frequent fliers should use multi-trip insurancePeople who take several flights to Egypt and other countries each year have been advise to consider taking out multi-trip insurance.

A study carried out by MoneySupermarket.com stated that research showed people who opt for annual policies could save themselves as much as 15 per cent on the cost of their insurance each year.

It added that opting for these forms of cover are most beneficial to those who take three or more holidays each year, with the levels of cover offered on areas such as baggage allowance and cancellation often more generous than with single trips.

Bob Atkinson, travel insurance expert at the price comparison site, said: "The price of a policy should not be the main factor when buying travel insurance however being a savvy regular traveller will save you money without compromising on cover."

People taking flights to Egypt and other countries could be planning to travel with their family, after a recent study from Abta - the travel association showed that this sort of trip was the most popular among Brits.
