Singer KT Tunstall has revealed she is to make her honeymoon one to remember - by jetting off on a round-the-world tour.

Tunstall, 33, is to marry her fiance Luke Bullen this summer after a string of festival and tour performances.

However, she told the Daily Record, she is determined to relax on her honeymoon and has included flights to India as part of her itinerary.

"Luke and I are just going to go travelling for a few months, take some proper time off and see a bit of the world.

"We hope to get to India and really just go travelling, do the backpack thing. I never got the chance to do that when I was younger, so I would really like to do that then come back and get on with doing the next album," she commented.

The singer, as well as other people heading off on holidays to India this year, may wish to take advantage of backpacking tips offered by Mooky Chick magazine, which advocates bartering in Indian shops to get the best deals, as well as taking travellers cheques for times when it may be difficult to get to a bank.
