Anyone going on holidays to Goa in early February should take time out to visit the Grape Escape.

Anyone going on holidays to Goa in early February should take time out to visit the Grape Escape.

This is the suggestion of the Indian Wine Academy, which states that the event will take place from February 5th to 8th this year and promises to be an exciting spectacle.

The festival is organised by the Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) and showcases wines and cuisines from around the world, as well as fashion shows and live music.

It is free to attend and up to 5,000 people are expected to be there.

GTDC chairman Shyam Satardekar said: "As always, the festival promises to be a unique cultural experience."

For anyone thinking of attending, the festival will be held at the Inox Theatre space in Panjim.

One person who has enjoyed Goa in recent months is Tristan Holme of Cricket365.

He stated that Goa has "most things" a person could want from a vacation, from a laidback atmosphere to sunny beaches to cheap alcohol to great food.
