Newspaper recommends exotic holiday locations

Thailand and Goa are some of the best locations in the world when it comes to exotic holidays, one newspaper has said.

The Canwest News Service compiled the list based on the sunny weather available in the destinations, their luxury feel and what they have to offer tourists in terms of attractions.

Phuket and Pattaya were particularly recommended for people looking for holidays to Thailand thanks to their beaches and clear blue seas.

"They bring together cultural heritage, mountain views, elephant camps, ancient temples and palaces … all in one place," the newspaper said.

Meanwhile, it also recommended Goa because of its relaxed and diverse atmosphere and the meeting of east and west in terms of culture. The resort also has great beaches as an added bonus, Canwest said.

April could be a particularly good month to choose holidays in Goa in terms of weather, the Nation Travel recently said.Meet the editors...
