Passengers reveal most-wanted list for air travelNew research carried out by Scyscanner has revealed what passengers on flights to India and other destinations want most when it comes to air travel.

Internet access was an ideal for 15 per cent of the respondents, while 14 per cent simply wanted to be seated away from babies.

Meanwhile extra legroom, fast-track check-in services and an inflight shop for magazines and newspapers was also suggested by some passengers.

Entertainment was an important factor, with seatback entertainment systems receiving nine per cent of the vote for being a must-have gadget.

However, if security were no object, 16 per cent of passengers said they would love to pay extra to be able to be seated with the pilot.

Virgin Atlantic recently launched a new offering for its inflight programming, Pitch TV.

The service will be available from June this year and will allow would-be entrepreneurs to promote products via video clips to potential investors in a Dragons' Den style.Meet the editors...
