Qatar Airways to provide shorter seamless connections

Adjustments to flight timings for Qatar Airways will mean more efficient connections to destinations around the world, the airline has announced.

Changes to the route between the airline's Doha base and the Kingdom of Bahrain will mean both business and leisure travellers will benefit from shorter and more "seamless" connections, it stated.

"Our enhanced flight schedules enable travellers from Bahrain to spend even less time transiting through Doha to make the journey quicker, convenient and even more enjoyable," said Qatar Airways chief executive officer Akbar Al Baker.

He added that the inflight service offered by the carrier has proved to be "the best" through recent awards the airline has won and the high standards it sets for itself.

Qatar Airways will begin its first flights to Australia - travelling to both Sydney and Melbourne - as well as two further cities in Europe and new routes to Goa and Amritsar within India.
