Cheap flights to India and other destinations are on offer for people choosing to fly to their holiday in Delhi with Virgin Atlantic, it has been announced.

A "scorching summer sale" on flights offered by the airline in their economy and premium economy seating has been launched.

Virgin Atlantic announced the sale of flights to worldwide destinations including "some of the lowest ever fares in economy and premium economy".

Advertised fares to Dubai from the UK are as low as £299 and flights to Delhi are advertised as from £299 including taxes and charges.

Travellers looking to book cheap flights to India or Dubai do not have long to make the most of these offers, however, as the sale will only be available until July 14th.

Visitors on holiday in Delhi during August may wish to head to the ancient Red Fort for the celebrations around Indian Independence Day. One of the highlights includes a speech from the Indian prime minister on August 15th. Meet the editors...
