Other people who cause irritation on flights include people who arrive late to board the plane, passengers who take up the most room in the overhead storage compartments and those who make a lot of noise eating or coughing.

"We can all get stressed when flying, but maybe we should have a bit of sympathy for those poor parents struggling to cope with young children," explained Mike Whiting, managing editor at the company.
