BBC journalist: I want a holiday in India Brits booking cheap holidays in India may be joined by a new face in the future, as BBC news presenter and journalist Sian Williams has revealed that she would love to visit the country on her next stint abroad.

Speaking to the Telegraph about her best and worst holiday experiences, the news reader said that she would love to travel to India, as her first trip made an impression on her.

However, this was while filming for a Six O'Clock News documentary on tigers, she added, and she would like to go back to enjoy India with her family.

"It's an amazing country because you have the intensity and bustle of Delhi and the peace and tranquillity of the countryside. I'd like to explore further," she told the newspaper.

Mumbai may be a great destination to head to in the future, according to a report written by Forbes.com.

The news provider's recent list of potential 'capital cities of the world' recognised Mumbai as a centre of fast economic and financial growth.
